Get Strategic Advice from Wizards and Witches: Harry Potter
Harry Potter has a great storyline; there's no doubt. However, there's more to the show beyond a young wizard with his friends fighting evil ones. It's not just me who gets the inspiration for my life from Harry Potter. There are many people across the world who have absorbed tips from the films and the Harry potter books and can use both in any context. Most times, when people quote from the series, they're referring to Dumbledore. He's wonderful, of course, however, I've also found many pearls of wisdom from other characters in the series. It's no secret that Harry Potter is a fount of wisdom. It's full of interesting snippets of philosophical insight into issues like life as well as death, equality, and many more. In light of that, it is logical for us to assume that Potter students are following the same direction. Here are the lessons that Harry and his companions could impart to us.
"I am who I am and I'm not ashamed of it. There are some who will accuse you of being a victim but they're not worth bothering with." — Hagrid
Hagrid is quoting from his father; however, it's evident Hagrid is convinced too. Sometimes, we get caught in the trap of trying to become someone other people would like. It takes an enduring partner such as Hagrid to help us remember that people who are important to you are exactly as you are.
"There's nothing wrong with your work except lack of confidence." — Minerva McGonagall
Self-doubt is something that we all go through. However, sometimes we must fake it to make it appear. Whatever your job involves, self-confidence is the key to success. Be confident in yourself, and you'll be amazed at the amount you can accomplish.
"I don't just like people because they are handsome!" — Hermione Granger
Not exactly an advice piece, but rather an easy reminder that appearances aren't all that important. Actually, they can have very little significance.
"What you fear most of all is fear. Very wise." — Remus Lupin.
It's crucial to be careful. However, it's equally crucial to be willing to take risks. Therefore, it's wise to be cautious about fear and ask yourself if your fear can hinder your progress. Above all, Remus Lupin is the kind of teacher who will give you tea and be attentive to everything you're saying, as well as providing a little insight but then letting you figure through your own issues by following his gentle advice.
"Young and whole men don't necessarily remain so." — Molly Weasley
The opposite of the advice above is to keep in mind that we're all prone to error and that we will all encounter problems throughout our lives. There are no perfect people. Every person experiences challenges throughout their lives.
"The thing is, it helps when people stand up to them, it gives everyone hope." — Neville Longbottom
Neville discusses fighting back against the new, terrible Dark Arts professor, and even though he's aware that he'll not succeed, he is convinced that it's crucial to try. Only one person is needed to speak out to inspire others to join in. If Neville is able to succeed, so can you.
"We feel our futures lie outside the world of academic achievement." — Fred Weasley
Yes, it's an intelligent excuse that Wesley did not want to do his homework. It's also a great reminder that not all people are destined to follow the same path.
"The world isn't split into good people and Death Eaters." — Sirius Black
This is a great way to emphasize that the majority of people don't belong in a box or label. The human condition is a complex combination of different things. Are you in one or the other? No? You didn't think so.
"Size is no guarantee of power." — George Weasley
Whatever your identity and where you're from, or even what you're doing, you can accomplish something amazing and powerful.
"Anything can be done if you've got the courage ." — Ginny Weasley
Inspired by her sly and brave siblings, Ginny tosses out some real-life empowerment in this video. It's both an exhilarating and liberating idea.
"The mind isn't something that can be opened and read at leisure. Mind is a multifaceted and many-layered object." — Severus Snape
It's fine to have conflicting thoughts and think things through in your mind. Mind reading isn't possible since our minds aren't designed to be able to do it. It's best to accept that you may not possess all of the solutions.
"It is our choices, Harry, that show us what we truly are, far more than our abilities." — Albus Dumbledore
Do you really require any explanation? Although at times, Dumbledore is unnecessarily obscure, no one could offer more valuable guidance than his Headmaster. His insight on everything from death to fate, dreams, and fears, as well as truth and evil, has inspired and educated many readers through the many years.
