Thor - God of Thunder
Thor is a Nordic God, son of Odin (supreme God of Asgard) and Jod (Midgard Goddess), we usually see him wielding his magic hammer (called Mjolnir) and he is known as a God of Thunder, associated with lightning, storms, sacred groves and trees, strength, the protection of mankind and also hallowing and fertility.
He was one of the most popular Gods during the Viking Age and he is generally described as fierce-eyed, red-haired, and red-bearded.
Ragnarok is his most famous battle where he had to defeat Jormungand (Midgard Serpent) but despite killing the serpent he dies during the battle.
Even now, he still knows in the rural folklore in german regions in Europe, there are street names, days of the week, and many works of art inspired by him.
